Since April 2022, I have had the esteemed opportunity to collaborate with SimLo's Island Cafe, a Jamaican restaurant located in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and proudly veteran-owned. During this period, I undertook a formal engagement to elevate their visual identity and promotional materials, seeking to encapsulate the essence of their vibrant cuisine and rich cultural heritage. This comprehensive undertaking encompassed the creation of a distinct logo, sophisticated business cards, visually striking flyers, attention-commanding posters, and engaging event tickets. My objective has been to artfully showcase the exceptional flavors of Jamaica and the warm, welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant, extending an invitation to patrons to savor both the culinary excellence and the ambiance.
